The Gallery is accessed thru the Gallery link on your website. In this example simply click on the “New Gallery!” link.

The gallery page offers the viewer the ability to view any of the sub-gallery image groups or all the images together. Each high level gallery page consists of 15 thumbnail images, a pull-down to select a sub-gallery, a search capability, and navigation links at the bottom allowing the viewer to jump directly to any of the pages of thumbnails.

Clicking on any of the thumbnails or the details link below them brings you to the expanded image, a Title above the image & a description below the image. Click anywhere on the expanded image to return to the thumbnail index page.

Use the /gallery/admin page to set all the preferences & add, delete or edit images, titles or descriptions.

Login consists of using the allocated username & password. Hit submit at the admin page after entering your username & password. When you log in successfully you are brought to the IMAGE Administration page.

Preferences – Click on “Preferences” to set or change the E-mail contact address, and the Name that is placed at the top of the Gallery.

Add Subgalleries – This link gives you the ability to add sub-gallery names or dates (E.g. 2002, 2003, General). Once entered the sub-gallery appears in the pull down allowing you to select it to view just that portion of the images.

Add Images – This link allows you to add, delete or edit images & related information

Choose the sub-gallery you want this image part of with pull down, input title & description. Use the “Browse” button to navigate to the image to be loaded to the website. The images can be “.jpg”, “.jpeg”, “.gif”, “.png”, or “.bmp”. The images can be any size (x pixels , y pixels) but the larger the image the longer it will take to transfer it up to the server. Once on the server, larger images are reduced automatically to approx. 800x600. Images smaller then 800x600 will maintain their size.

Edit | Delete | View – Click “View” to see the image at the same line as the button, Click “Delete” to delete the image at the same line as the button,

Click “Edit” to change the image at the same line as the button.

The Edit Image page appears with the text fields filled in with the present information in the database. You are free to edit any information presented (as a simple text edit) and then re-submit it. It is not recommended to change the “Large Image” name. If you need to change the image simply delete it and re-upload it from your computer.
