1986, Sparkman and Stephens designed Custom Stevens 47. Boundless was built in Queen Long Marine in Taiwan. She is a center cockpit cutter rigged sloop, a fast Blue Water Cruiser. She is the last of the production run, #56. She is in excellent shape and lying in the Barcelona, Spain, but we will deliver anywhere. She is set up for full time cruising and live aboard. We have been cruising full time since 1999. We have sailed the NE coast of the US, the Bahamas, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean from Gibraltar to Turkey and Croatia…..a really wonderful experience. We have continued to maintain and improve Boundless along the way. If you are looking for a great performing Blue Water Cruiser that can be handled by two people for day sails or Circumnavigation, this may be the boat for you!

Specifics;
Boundless is a 3-cabin center cockpit cutter rigged sloop with a centerline queen aft cabin and 2 heads. Length 46.8ft. Beam 14.3ft. Draft 6ft. Gross weight 20 tons.

FUEL – 150 gallons diesel in 3 stainless steel tanks

ENGINE – Westerbeke W70 rebuilt 2001 with 2000 hours. 1.5 gal/hr @ 6 kts

GENERATOR – Westerbeke 8 kw, .75 gal/hr

WATER – 100 gallons in 2 stainless steel tanks plus a 3 gal/hr Pure Water Maker @ 3 amps/hr. All water is filtered incoming and again before use. For all drinking water we have an additional 1 micron filter and a separate faucet. Electric and Engine generated hot water. Fresh water wash down at stern swim ladder. Salt water wash down at bow for anchor and rode.

ELECTRIC – 1000 amp hr battery bank plus start and windlass batteries. 2500 watt inverter with 150 amp/hr charger monitored and controlled by a Heart
Interface Link 2000-R. 150 amp/hr alternator. 2 large solar panels.
Transformer for 250v to 120v conversion or European to US voltage.

A/C – 2 Reverse cycle units for comfort in the heat or cold.

RIGGING – New in 2002. The mast with in mast furling was redone 2002.
2 head sails roller furled. The genoa is full cut 130%. All Safety lines were replaced in 2002. A Forespar hard boom vang supports the boom and a hydraulic backstay allows fine sail shaping. Additional sails include a Yankee jib, spinnaker and cruising spinnaker.

SAFETY – 8 life preservers, 6 self inflatable harnesses, Jack lines in cockpit
and on deck, 2 high volume manual bilge pumps. Electric bilge pump,
24 ft drogue with 300 ft line, man overboard pole, lifesling, 8 person
liferaft with manual water maker, E-PERB, flares, etc.

WINDLASS – Maxwell 2200 lb. Vertical drive.

ANCHORS – 60 lb Bruce with 200 ft 3/8 chain with additional 200 ft line. 25 lb
Danforth with 50 ft chain and 300 ft rode. 35 lb CQR &
125 lb Fisherman. Additional 200 ft 3/8 chain never used.

TENDER – Avon 3.5 roll-up dinghy with 15 hp Johnson, both in good shape.

DAVITS – adequate for dinghy and motor. Solar panels mounted on davits.

CANVAS – Hard dodger by Wavestopper. Dodger and all canvas is Mediterranean blue. Bimini attaches to the dodger. The cockpit can be fully enclosed with clear plastic (great for cold weather cruising or protection in bad weather) or netting to keep bugs out and allow air in. Boundless has a White Sunbrella sun shade that covers bow to stern with moveable side awnings for additional shade. Hatch covers for all hatches are included.

FORWARD CABIN – V-berth with adequate storage and room for two people, fan and
A/C.

PORT BUNK ROOM – 2 single bunks with adequate storage for 2 people and fan.

FORWARD HEAD – Full head including a stall shower, electric toilet and a washing
machine.

MAIN SALOON – Fixed table that expands to seat 6-8 people comfortably. Bench seats
port and starboard. TV/VCR and storage for provisions and boat
parts/spares. Fans.

NAVIGATION STATION –Nav station faces forward with a desk for storage and ease of use. Navigation is all electronic with Captain’s software. FAN– Great in the summer!
