>A very grey day. The forecast was wrong! It didn’t rain all day! It 
>started at 8:00 am and we left at 8:10….oh well. We both suited up 
>properly and had to add cloths for warmth soon after we started but we 
>did stay reasonably dry. As reasonably dry as you can while driving at 
>high speed into a downpour. It actually didn’t rain all day, it stopped

>15 miles. The temperature varied all day between 43 and 59 degrees. We 
>even had wind gusts of 30 to 40 from the side. It was also the first 
>day that we ran into loose gravel in construction areas, around work 
>roads, there are many, and through the sharp turns in the mountains. We 
>are usually warned about all of these as well as rough roads. The semis 
>that came the other way today always came with a huge spray of BROWN 
>water. Everything is covered in brown. I don’t think Jim will even 
>sleep tonight because he can’t even see his chrome…the bikes are both 
>brown. I wonder if he’ll wash it before we leave in the

I must have intimidated him.
