What a beautiful day! It started a little cold but we were comfortable in our cacoon. The sunrise was beautiful! As the day progressed it got warmer with no clouds and little wind! What more could we ask for! We pulled anchor and got started early as usual. We did 57 miles today! The ICW continues to be a challenge in Georgia! It is beautiful though! We hardly saw any houses until we got near Savannah. The houses and communities in this part of Georgia were more mature than many parts of the ICW but they were also equally as nice. Most of the trip was meandering along rivers and creeks through the tidal waters adjacent to the Atlantic. We only saw a few other boats and the wildlife was the same. We continue to fish with little success except for the occasional crab pot and other miscellaneous pieces of junk. Things never change! Savannah has a boat show in progress and looks like a wonderful city to visit. Faith and I will do that another time! The weather doesn't look good tomorrow so I guess we'll stay on the ICW for another day or so. Life is tough on the water!
