February 15th-16th We finally woke up to a sunny beautiful day and we finally had a good night's sleep. It was the first time in over three weeks that the boat didn't bob, bounce, roll or sway!!! When we got up, we did some chores. We hoisted Jon up the mast to fix a fitting that broke loose and then Rudy and Jon fixed a fitting for the propane locker. We then went over to a small diving spot called the Indians and snorkeled and saw some beautiful fish and coral. Our next stop was Sloper's Hole on Tortola to get fuel, oil and food. The grocery store five years ago was just starting to expand and now it was finished. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection, but not so of the prices. I put back a brunch of grapes when it rang up at $11 and closed my eyes on the essentials!!! When we got to our destination for the night at Culebra, we all jumped in and snorkeled for a while before we sat down to chicken fajitas which Shawn made for us....DELICIOUS!!! We had another peaceful night and started on Wednesday the 16th at 7 a.m. for Puerto Rico so that Shawn and Jon can caught their plane on Thursday.
